  1. The CPS is located on top of front cam cover at the back under air filter. I couldn't copy my manual without taking Ipic. If you need more help let me know. :) Good Luck Paul
  2. Went to Columbus, GA yesterday afternoon to bike ride the Riverwalk. It's about 69 miles from Newnan, 70*F , averaged about 65 mph on I-85/ I-185 with good drafting partners, 550 ft. drop in elevation and got 59 mpg. Coming back averaging about 70 mpg and not much drafting got 49 mpg. Sure is nice having the warmer temps. :) Paul
  3. Weird. :headscratch: With 185k mi. replaced windshield twice. Rocks were the cause of my problems. Paul
  4. Here no ethanol is 20 - 30 cents more expensive than Premium, racing gas is like $8 per gallon. :) I wonder how much mpg improvement I would get with that. :headscratch: Paul
  5. Bill a where in GA do you live, I'm in Newnan? I have had mine almost 5.5 yrs and no rodents. :headscratch: Paul
  6. They differently have problems keeping them repaired. Paul
  7. BJ's Premium is $2.77 Reg $2.37 I'll stick with Premium. :) Paul
  8. January 29, 2018 my Life Time Score went up to 49.5 mpg in the winter time on my trip to SF. :) I currently have 185k miles now. Paul

    LT49.5mpg

    From the album: 2013 C-Max

On my trip to SF my Life Time went up in the winter!
  10. This is true and I only use Premium, the few time I've used Regular it just kills the mpg's. I don't get the " if Ford is doing that now then they must really actively be trying to kill off the C-MAX." Please explain. Paul
  11. Here is a thread with video's to show you how to improve the car and drive it to get great MPG's. :) Paul
  12. I would just replace it, but it's going to be a challenge to do it. Paul
  13. Using Defrost HI Temp drops temps radically in a few seconds. :) It usally takes 5 -10 min. for temps to come up again. Paul
  14. With 183k mi. haven't changed brake fluid yet, don't use brakes very much, disk look almost new. Trans is 85k old, no need to change trans fluid until 150K mi. Paul
  15. I would try to keep TFT below 190*F and WT below 230*F, put holes in bottom grill cover, not middle. BTW my Life Time average MPG went up to 49.5 mpg on trip to SF last week with winter temps. :) Paul
  16. Looks like they are running out of cars to sell. Paul
  17. Yes, but you need to make sure all the openings are blocked off. Paul
  18. Your gas mileage doesn't have to be that bad, I'm still getting 51.5 mpg actual with temps 17*F to 40*F, are us using Winter Tips: http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/5511-how-to-improve-winter-mpgs/:) Paul
  19. That is amassing and disappointing that you have to wait. It would be nice if they would order the new trans now so you don't have to wait. Paul
  20. I have also had 2 windshields replaced in 176K mi./5.5yrs. What would aerodynamics have to do with windshield chips? I do drafting about 100 ft. back and not having a significant problem. :headscratch: On a side note here south of Atlanta today roads snow packed and 17*F. Friend of mine in Rochester said it was 32*F, what happened to Global Warming when you need it. :) Paul
  21. From a Safety stand point Hybrid/Plugin Hybrid make the most sense having two energy sources or great mileage in an emergency, no electricity for EV which is the most common problem in a disaster. :) Paul
  22. Just had the "Service Tire Mobility Kit " warning come up and got rid of it by going to settings, vehicle, tire mobility kit and change the interval to 4 yrs. :) Paul
