  1. And Driving is Good again. :) YA! :yahoo: Paul
  2. I have 76K mi. on new Trans/ 174k total mi. on MADMAX and so far everything is going Great! :) You have a long ways to go, you might as well get your moneys worth out of it. :) I'm shouting for 300k mi., it will be an emotional experience letting MADMAX go. :cry:He's part of the family. Paul
  3. With Winter here now, temps in the mid 30's it is time to cover all the grills to conserve as much heat as possible. BRRR  Yesterday I got 63mpg going to work with 46*F and some HVB charge and today only got 40.7*F with 34*F, sleet, rain and no HVB. You Tube video views upto 4,410 now. Paul

  5. I haven't changed Trip 2 in quite awhile, 695gal. x 53.9mpg = 37,460mi. So it's been over a year. Life Time at 49.4mpg so the MPG's keep getting better. :) Paul
  6. My EV, Regen didn't change when I got the up date. :headscratch: Paul
  7. That's funny but it didn't on mine. :headscratch: Paul
  8. 2013 only have Life Time on Smart Gauge when you shut off the car. You can use your second trip gauge for life time by keeping track of when it rolls over at 10K mi. Paul
  9. Here you go. :) http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/3129-tuft-testing-a-c-max/page-1 Paul
  10. Years ago we figured it comes the window. :headscratch: Now that I'm thinking about it I think they could be 3D Printed with use of a 3D Scanner. In the final analysis we didn't think they would do much considering the yarn aerodynamic testing "fbov" did. Paul
  11. I looked at FORD Parts and they don't show it on back window. Paul
  12. I just looked at my car and it is the Trans that is connected to the cable. Time to replace the Trans. :drop: Take it to a FORD Dealer that has done several of these so someone doesn't have to learn on your car. Paul
  13. What does the black cable next to it go to.? Paul
  14. I think it is from the feathering of inside and outside edges of tire, which I think is caused by the alignment and maybe tire construction. I had a set of Goodyear Fuel Max tires on a 2007 Focus and they made a lot of noise because the alignment was out. That is why I said change the direction of rotation every 10k miles. Using crisscrossing the tires moves the tire from front to back. :) Need to check camber and toe in and I would set at minimums to minimize wear of the tires. Paul
  15. I'm thinking ICE then, didn't say how many miles you have, but I would take it to FORD. :headscratch: Good Luck Paul
  16. I'm thinking Transmission, the inverter doesn't have anything to make noise. Does it make noise when you first start it? Try putting it in neutral, does it only happen when the ICE is on? Need more info. :) If you aren't passed the 100k miles Ford should fix it. Paul
  17. My Life Time and Fuelly.com averages went up another .1 mpg to 49.4 mpg and 48.4 mpg. :yahoo: It just keeps on getting better and with 173k mi., Just shows if you keep on working on it will keep going up. :) Paul
  18. I lucked out and got a FFH when mine was fixed. :) Paul
  19. I have a cover over my lower Grill Cover. Small front cover covers up holes in main lower Grill Cover and can be easily removed. This will usually for most situations dropping temps down 15*F. :) Paul
  20. Is there any reason you can't do the things I have listed in Post#1? :) Paul
  21. Alarms will not go off until 246*F so you have a ways to go, when I get to 231*F I will hit the defrost button and temps go down 20*F in a minute then turn it off. Using the heater also helps, just turn it on with temps are going up and off when temps are going down. :) Also You could slow down , which works. Or remove lower Grill Cover, what ever works for you. :) Paul
  22. If it is down in the 40's and below most of the time I completely cover it up. It doesn't make a big difference( about 5*F, but I think you gain some heat saving and aerodynamic improvement. :) Paul
  23. I filled up a week ago with temps 35-70*F I'm getting 56mpg with 65% HWY using all my MOD's of Post#1. I should be able to go another 130 miles. :) Paul
  24. Took trip down to Columbus, GA to ride bike trail and got 68.9 mpg/ 70% EV, temps 50-63*F and some tail wind. You Tube video views up to 4300. :) Paul
