When this happens to me, I usually don't notice it until I am driving. The next time I turn off and on the ignition, it goes back to my regular MyView settings. I have been trying to figure out under what situations this happens, but to no avail.

I have used this a few times, and it has worked very well. I just wish it would also let you send the actual route you selected on MapQuest instead of the car doing the routing. I also like inputting the address via voice.

I have the Energi, and on the left screen I can set it to the Empower mode which will give you a visual as to when the ICE will kick in compared to your current EV state. I think the Hybrids have this screen as well. Sometimes while cruising in hybrid, as the battery is depleted the threshold comes near. If there is not traffic behind me, I will back off a little to extend the amount of time I am in EV.

I have you beat. I accidentally tuned off the C-max at the bottom of my driveway. I was completely out of charge, and the ICE kicked on to get me up my 100', 10ft of elevation gain driveway. I had only 10mpge!!!

I was wondering about this. Of all the cars I have owned, this one is the worst for it. If it is a sign that it is well sealed, I guess that is a good problem to have? I can't stand it though. It really can hurt the ears.

Prices still seem high. Not sure of the current rebate info, but bought my 301A NRG for $28K then will get the $4K in tax credit for a net price of 24K. I bought on 12.31.13.

The C-Max is rated with a larger cargo area than the Soul by about 1 cu foot with all seats in place or all folded. Maybe you are looking at the C-Max Energi, it has less cargo space, but the regular C-max is decent and slightly larger than a Soul. Interesting that per Edmunds the C-Max has more room in almost every category, I would think the Soul's shape would have made for more efficient use of space. The Soul is a neat car, my sister-in-law has one.
