  1. I just wanted to reply to this old post concerning the entertainment system not coming on, and thank those who had to deal with it when their Cmax were new. Our 2013 developed the same problem for the first time a couple days ago, and by removing and replacing the 69 & 79 fuses, it now works. I did run the ICE a bit in between which may or not be necessary.

I'd like to add that after getting past the initial disappointment of less than advertised MPG, we have really enjoyed our Cmax Hybrid, and feel that 41+ MPG after three yrs. coupled with the pleasant ride and more than adequate performance to be a very favorable overall experience.

  2. Just found the forum and signed up this evening. We got our '13 plat. white SEL Cmax Hybrid in Nov. '12 so we were one of the first on the road around central Ohio. It's our first hybrid and overall we're pretty happy with it after around 15mos. and 18K. Our brake score is 94 and our life time mpg is 40.2. My guess is that these numbers are avg. to a bit above for this climate, and having gone through two winters in our 15 mos. I've found that we get our best economy on medium length trips where we are staying mostly 25-50 mph and our worst on short trips when it's cold, and freeway driving 65-74 mph pretty much regardless of climate.....hybrids like mild to warm temps. We have had a number of recalls and a couple chronic issues. " check fuel fill inlet " warning has been and is again a problem after being "fixed".We have also had a coolant leak problem that results in an odor of coolant in the cabin and has been been worked on several times now. The car works fine and is pleasant to drive, and we've gotten past the claimed EPA 47mpg, but we're growing tired of trips to the dealer.
