I would check around. USAA has me covered for 644.00 a year not every 6 months. They have always been great to deal with.

Nice! - I see you have the brake caliper covers - How do you like them?

Check this little gem out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/231291121005?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Looks the part without being huge and it's adjustable.

Congrats on the new ride! I love mine!

I think they look great and keep the parking lot dings away. Super simple installation and perfect color match.

Yep PlastiDip. Plasti-Dip is basically rubber and all you have to do is mask about two inches around the badges and spray the whole area. Once you put about 2-3 coats on (or however many you feel comfortable with) and let it dry, you just peel the Plasti-Dip off like it's a sticker. It feels like you're pulling off fruit rollup. The Plasti-Dip SHOULD peel right off between the creases. There's a million tutorial videos on YouTube on how to do it. It's really a piece of cake! Great Stuff.

Took awhile but I put these on this weekend. super easy and look great. Body colored match is perfect. Very pleased with looks and quality.

No issue with mine so far. The sync and bluetooth audio work great! I did turn off the auto play with iphone option. Cool idea but I want to choose when I listen to my phones music versus every time I get in a song fires up. I do love using google maps via bluetooth. I find google maps quicker and more thought out versus the in car nav.

Welcome - you actually summed up my recent purchase too with your write up. The Empower screen has changed my habits and I have seen my mpg growing also. The tech screens and instant feedback made a huge influence on the purchase of the vehicle. Welcome to the C-max club!

Fordfan82 is correct. Active noise cancelling only focuses on certain range/frequency of sound. It would not mask thinks such as sirens, music speech etc..

Want to try and stick with stock 17 inch size. I thought the focus wheel was 17. Thanks for the info. I'll keep looking. I have seen a video with the focus wheel mounted and it looked awesome just do want to go to 18s at the time. Just to confirm though - The focus wheel and C-Max have the same offset and bolt pattern correct?

I installed these this past weekend. They look great and the moulded rubber fits perfectly. Really sharpens up the profile of the car IMO. Easy to install although you do have to remove the rear tires. It also gave me an excuse to poke around underneath the car. Bought them off eBay from fairway ford with free shipping.

Any update on this? Just curious.

Just installed these today. They look great and I love the in Chanel fitment. Rears are harder to get fitted properly as they are a little fiddley. Will give it a few days in sunlight and let the heat help with fitting.

Anyone - Bueller - Bueller?

I would try felt sticky tape. Easy to cut and layer if needed. Used it years ago on a creaky dash. Expanding foam could be really hard to work with and could expand too much and break the surface. Also if expanding foam get on any undesired surface it could be really hard to remove.

I just retired (totaled) my Cadillac STS-V. The Cadillac forum was very active and a great way to keep up with other with a similar interest. I learned allot from that forum and made some great friends. I hope to achieve this here too as I grow with the car and you guys! I was a very active modder on the V class Cadillac. It looks like the C-Max's are a little new for tuning or modding but I'll keep an eye out. My first mod may be a new set of wheels. Less concerned with uber mpg at the moment as I really like the cmaxs looks and hybrid aspect compared to the prius. I'm getting 38 right now and completely happy with that as my 520hp Caddy was getting around 15/23.

OK Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I'm in Charleston and would love to get back to Atlanta for a get together. Sounds like fun.

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the center stack to a default? I would like the screen to show page where the battery and gas usage graphic that flow back and forth. My daughter and I love this feature and I always have to hit the button once started. Any ideas?
25-27 mpg! on highway!? Is something wrong?

Running around 70 with AC returns around 40 for me in the summer. Pushing 80 yields 36 with AC with three occupants and luggage. Sounds like you have an issue.
