The parts department supervisor at the dealer where I purchased my C-max researched the keyless entry pad. What he was told was that the keyless pad is not compatible with C-Maxs equipped with the push button start. In lieu of that, he suggested a $65 security key to be kept in my wallet or outside the car. I haven't looked it up in the manual yet but my car seems to unlock the driver door if I have the fob near the outside of the door and pull the handle twice.

Anyone have success installing the keypad on a C-Max SEL? I've tried with no success. I can't find a way to enter programming mode. Les

A receiver is a requirement for me as well. I have both a receiver bike rack and small aluminum trailer I carry kayaks and bikes on. If someone doesn't provide one, I'll have to make one of the universals work.
