I thought rentals were paid by Ford when warranty work is being done?

I haven't left the car running accidentally, but somehow I left it with the rear hatch open. I was taking my dog to the dog park and meeting a friend there. She called to tell me she parked next to me and found my hatch wide open. The dog stays in the back seat so I didn't open the hatch to get him out, I'm not sure how I did it. The only thing I can think of is I accidentally hit the hatch button twice instead of the lock button twice on the fob.

Right, I'm at the point now where I always have the A/C on, and am having a hard time getting above 42 mpg for a tank. Today I was able to use ICE High and got 47 mpg on my commute but I can't always due that because of traffic and nature of the trips.

Why C MAX ruined my Ford experience (not MPG related)
zhackwyatt replied to Meabn007's topic in Welcome
Are you saying other voice commands work well for you except replying to text messages? MFT only contains a list of preset text messages, you can't just respond with anything. -

My Ford Touch does NOT have AppLink. So for example, you can't thumbs up or thumbs down a song in Pandora through MFT. If you have the non-MFT Sync, then you can. In both systems once you have the phone connected over bluetooth, the sound will come through the car. -
The lifetime is reset separately from the MPG (or L/100KM?) that shows up in the Empower display. When folks are referring to the lifetime they usually refer to the display that is shown when you power off the car. It cycles between the trip and the lifetime everytime you power off the car and you can use the steering wheel controls to scroll between the two until the display goes off.

It doesn't show average MPH only MPG.

Go to Favorites, find the entry, Edit, click Name. You should get the full keyboard. If you don't, it's because it's being stupid. I've had this happen once before. When going to a new destination it will only display letters that make sense, for example, when entering a state you can't click the z button as the first letter. I think this sometimes gets hung-up and stays on in situations you should get the whole keyboard. I just waited a day or so and was able to edit it just fine.

I can appreciate your feelings, but I have to ask this question again..."Where are they supposed to put the spare?"

Getting GPS Module Replaced!
zhackwyatt replied to ArizonaEnergi's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Yeah me too. I'm trying to figure out what will fix my problem? The recalibration or the gps module replaced. I plan on taking it in as soon as the MFT update is out, so I can have them fix that and a couple of fit and finish issues and the rear liftgate not closing. -

I can't remember, was your nav always wrong, or was it just sometimes? Mine is only wrong sometimes. -
First Screen Freeze! Woohoo!!!!!

I'm thinking he has the new version since he mentioned the hybrid display. -
Consumer reports says: "The controls are overly complicated, cumbersome to use, and potentially distracting" I don't agree with that personally, especially when you take into account voice and steering wheel controls which they never seem to do. Looks like the poll results are leaning away from CR. If Ford could just fix the stability issues, I think they have a really good system on their hands.

Has anyone installed an amplifier in their C-Max?
zhackwyatt replied to HotPotato's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I agree, the USB stick in the car sounds way better than SIRIUS. I'm thinking about not resubscribing when my trial is up. -
They should have SSL support, but it's not like they take credit card info or anything. And regardless if they have encryption or not, you should never use the same password on more than one site anyways, so it someone sniffs the password, they can only get into true delta and nothing else.

I don't know where you got the quote from, but I drive in a lot of drive-thrus, and never had to do a multi-point turn to get in one. The turning radius is big, but not that big.
