Going to get under the dash and see if the parking aid disable switch is installed. #5 on the diagram. Thanks for the info!

Is there a way to completely turn off the rear park assist sensors? I turn it off on the menu but will reset every time you get back in the car. I have a hitch rack mounted and is always going off. Camera also, don't see the use on such a small car. That and all i see now is a bike rack.

Anyone have a sun shade for the panoramic roof? Thinking of cutting one to size and fitting it between the glass and the factory fabric shade.

Depending on your phone and music player. Make sure you have the volume up in the music app along with the bluetooth volume. Some phones /players will have two separate volumes when streaming bluetooth.
Thanks for the advice on the phone volume. That did the trick. Although I found that even if I turned up the phone volume all the way the music on the car speakers was still slightly quieter than sound from another source such as FM or Sirius. It is at least listenable although having to adjust settings just to listen to a different source seems.....unelegant.

Sync will tell me it cannot play protected media at first. But after a couple min or so it will start playing music. Thumb drive is the easiest way though. I think the phone has to many folders and directories. That's why it takes a couple min for sync to process it all. Bluetooth streaming is usually the way i go. Sounds good enough to me. But 90% of the time I'm listening to Sirius.
I have tried this, and I get a message saying that there is a compatibility issue. I can't remember the exact message, but that's the gist of it. So, I can use the USB to charge, but not to play.
-
Also if you grab a charge cable and plug it into the usb port you can play your music wired. Will also charge your phone while you stream.
-
I use Google play music to manage all my albums. Connect then turn the volume up on the phone. Before the volume gets maxed out it will warn you that loud music is bad for you. Hit ok then proceed to turn it up.

They didn't find anything. Of course. The ticking noise did go away on its own. The fan is still blowing odd.

Bringing mine in tomorrow morning. Not in auto mode. What bothers me the most is the fan cricket noise. Started about a week or so ago. Drives me crazy.

2013 SEL 31000 miles. Yes going to drop off this week sometime.

When a/c is on i can hear the interior blower fan increase and decrease in speed constantly. No matter what speed i have the system set to. Also get a ticking fan noise from inside the dash. Faint cricket type of sound. Under warranty still but just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Thank you Rebecca. Not keen on a subscription service though. Kellytoons the voice does work well most of the time. Some addresses do give me problems. I do have the A5 card. Would be great if we could get android on mft.

Just got 15% installed today. What a difference. Cut the heat down dramatically. Plus it looks good with the pearl white.

I used nav at first. Slow and cumbersome to get a address locked in. When i use voice it always has issues when the street address is off of a numbered road or highway. I'm back to using Google maps on my phone. The ford nav is already out of date, missing new roads that Google already has.

Was at the boardwalk.

That's funny disney is where they jacked with it. Only certain areas i valet. Depending on the area and the parking situation. Other then that I'm at the back of the lot on a curb. My last car was a mazdaspeed3. I would never valet that due to the manual trans and it being a fast little turbo 4.
-
The last couple times i got my car back the radio was changed and the screen. I know it's trivial but don't go mucking about my car you are to only park. But is entering valet mode insulting? That and i don't want them to check my nav history even though i don't have a home destination set.

I think I'm going to go with the curt hitch. About $130 vs the $250eco. I have a 1.25 thule t2 that i have been using for the last 5 years or so. Solid rack. A bit heavy but it has held up great so far. Even fits 29in mountain bikes.

No date set as of yet. But will be making the trip to meet some friends to go mountain biking. The FATS trail system in Augusta. Then head over to Conyers to hit up the 96 Olympic mountain bike course. So im waiting to see what everyone's schedule is looking like at that time.
Fazzman ~ When in November?
UGA's football has away games on Nov 1 & 8 -- games in Athens the rest of Nov.
No snow in early November for those Floridians worried about snow in Georgia.
Augusta to Athens is about 2 hr. (100 mi. via I-20 & Hwy 78).
Ciao! ~ Eve

I'm pretty heavy into meets with every car i get my hands on. Our ford focus gatherings were great. Lots of bbq's and turning wrenches. Performance shops would host and have food, music, giveaways. But the cmax is different. No one looking for the next performance upgrade. I'm not sure how far i would travel for a gtg. I like the car but not that enthusiastic about talking mpgs. I'm in the Orlando area. Will be in Augusta, GA area sometime in November. I could squeeze in a gtg if it's nearby.

Picked up a 2013 white plat cmax about a month ago. Was a old rental car with 26k on the clock. Perfect condition and ford certified with extended factory warranty. Last car was a mazdaspeed3, absolute blast to drive but 26mpg hwy running premium just didn't cut it. New job I'm traveling a lot and the cmax delivers excellent milage.

Used a heat gun and fishing line. Picked off any 3m tape then used a porter cable buffer to clean off any residue.

Took all badges off my cmax. Only have cmax on the hatch.

Had my mazdaspeed3 windshield fixed twice. Both times I couldnt even find it unless I was really looking hard. Used safelite. No money out of pocket.
