By the way, while we didn't really want the panorama roof, especially living in Central Florida, the shade keeps it remarkably cooler that I'd have imagined. I don't think that it is much warmer than the ceiling/headliner of a regular roof sitting in the sun.

I have a small office trash can behind the passenger seat; it is black and so are my leather seats, so it isn't obvious as long as I don't cram it full. I've done that in my cars for about 15 years, but I don't have kids and rarely take backseat passengers. If I do, then the can just goes into the cargo area.

For years now, I've judged every car by ease of entry and exit. I'm amazed every time I get out of my C-Max without moving the steering wheel. And there isn't much hair on top of my head, but it is nice to not feel it brush the headliner!

My wife and I got our new C-Max Hybrid SEL on 30 August, after researching online ever since we test drove one at a Drive for Your School in the spring. We had wanted to drive something that we wouldn't actually be interested in. Then we couldn't stop thinking about it. I've always had something sporty, even a couple of muscle cars, but was ready for something new and with better fuel economy after my 2004 Sunfire started averaging a couple hundred a month for repairs. The C-Max is our first SUV type car but satisfies our desire for a touch of luxury and a kick of sporty. And now I'm old enough that I want to be comfortable, too! Mine -- ours ;) -- is Sterling Gray Metallic with the panorama roof. I'd have never wanted that roof, but it was on the lot with everything else that I -- we ;) -- wanted. I look forward to the information a forum community can share!
