  1. I am not sure why one would want to send instructions via Mapquest, but that is one I have not tried.  My problem is my nav system will not plan a route to any place in Baltimore, Md, not even City Center, map, etc.  I need to travel there several places.  My last thought was to use geo coodinates, but that option does not appear in Destinations, although the C-max manual shows that option.  I am thinking my map is corrupted.  Do you see geo coordinates on your Nav?  Any advice will be appreciated

What are the odds for this?  On a 1200 mile trip from Maryland to North Carolina and back by way of Roanoke, VA, we made a trip to the shopping center there.  Parked in a space to visit the store pictured (not advertising) Monday 10/7. I did not notice the adjacent car until I was already aiming for the spot.  There must be a lot of C-Max in Roanoke, and the same color?  Are you a Forum member?

note: Trip was a pleasure.  43.3 mpg driving as I would with any other car.

  3. From Easton, MD - My ice storm SEL delivered early December, 5500 miles including 3-week round trip to San Antonio, 41mpg.  Car is performing beautifully,  Unfortunately the Nav was lost most of the time, a constant irritation (took my TomTom along after hearing about it all).  I believe in oil, so had it changed and tires rotated at 5000 mi.

  4. My Ford Touch (MFT) software controls everything on the 8" display, and that means MFT contains the navigation software. Our cars came with MFT 3.1.3, but 3.5.1 has been release for some vehicles, which means an update for the navigation software is available. That update might fix the accuracy bug in the navigation system. Does that clear it up for you?

Thanks for the help.  On our 4,000 mile, 3-week vacation, the nav was a constant irritation - had to pull out the TomTom several times after giving the MFT ample time to correct.  Ford dealer in Pensacola did a master reset to no avail.  Tried sending a nastygram to Ford but they are not accepting e-mails.  Spent two nice days in lovely Atlanta visiting grandchildren in GaTech.

  5. This phone paired nicely and could send calls with voice commands.  However, received calls had no voice.  Solution - when call is received and in progress, go to menu on the phone screen and select "use bluetooth".  Apparently this is a one-time fix and have had no problems since.

  6. Using the .pdf version of the user's manual has been a great help.  Just enter a word or phrase in the search box and all mentions will be highlighted.   I agree that the print version lacks a good index

correction: yes, you must first log in to the Ford Owners website:

    https://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/HomePage

Having done that you can save the manual as you choose.
