thank you. So far it is still starting. I’ve started it several times today without my foot on the brake. No check engine light. Started once with foot on the brake out of habit. Still no check engine light. I literally pray every time I get in that God will let it start, lol. I have an appointment May 5. Hoping it stays working til then.

This just started today. I press the brake, push the button to start and the engine light comes on. The steering wheel is mostly locked. I can put it into drive but the car won't move. So I turn it off then it starts fine but seems a little "delayed" in moving. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the starter battery but it still does this. While I was there the tech could not get it to malfunction again. I got in and it did it again. Then it started WITHOUT my foot on the brake. They think it is an electrical issue but I can't get it in there for 2 weeks. Hoping it will keep starting. Anyone had this happen?

I’m getting about 40-43. I called the dealership and he was honest and said he had no idea what it meant but tha tif it had been doing it since I’ve had it (bought it used 4 years ago) and nothing else going on it’s probably fine. He said even the hybrid tech probably won’t know because they work on so few of them. He did say they have never had to replace the hybrid battery on any of them so that was good to hear.

I'm not sure if the battery indicator on the dashboard is for the 12v battery or the other battery but it will show almost full when I park the car and then sometimes after a few hours parked at work I will come out and it will be almost drained. Car starts fine so I am not sure what it indicates or why it goes down. It always charges back up after I drive a few miles. I have replaced the 12v battery once about 2 years ago and had one instance where the car was dead and had to be jumped off. Other than than no problems.

I just bought a 2013 cmax hybrid and there awe a couple of symbols I decant figure out. One is he green car with I believe arrows below it. The other is the battery symbol. When I slow down to turn it has a wheel running around it.
