Hi. Did you get it replaced? I have this problem also. My hood latch would not open pulling the interior lever. I had to shove a block of wood under the hood to hold the hood up tighter. Then I pulled the lever and the hood popped open. The cable is loose. When I manually operate the latch with the hood open, it works fine. When hood is closed, it wont pop open. So, now trying to figure out how to tighten the cable or replace it. Not much info on this.
