A couple of weeks ago the ignition chime in my 2017 C-Max started intermittently sounding whenever the driver's door is open, even if the key isn't in the ignition. At first it only happened every other day, but now it's constant - if I open the drivers door, key in or not, the chime sounds. I have been trying to research and trouble-shoot, without much luck. Any thoughts? I did notice the other night that the rear passenger-side light cluster (brake and turn signal) lights are also out - has anyone ever seen a connection between the ignition chime sounding and lights being out?
