I have a 2 inch echo hitch with this glide away rack on it. No problems after 2 and half years and counting.
You still like this rack? Im thinking about buying it... did you have to drill holes for the hitch at all, and where did you find it?
-
can anyone please post a link for this easy to install eco hitch? Im afraid I will buy the wrong thing.
-
hey, in anyone out there? Im looking for a trailer hitch for my bike, probably an eco hitch i cant find it easily online do you have a specific website? I might get the swivel from thule but its $400, plus im not sure what to do because i do not have the trailer hitch...

ohhhh YES THANK YOU SO MUCH~~!!!! How do i turn off the car with remote start?

Hi there, i was wondering if there way a way to get the windows to roll down automatically with the key fob. I have the 2015 SEL hybrid, with the remote start. Itd be great if i could get them to roll down with a few clicks or with the handle or something. My old 2000 VW did that with the key in the door.... ALSO, any good suggestions on a bike hitch. Maybe the piveting one. my mtn bike just barely doesnt fit inside and every time i take the wheel off my brakes arent lined up... love the car, still only about 2 months in and almost 6,000 miles!!! 38.3 MPG lifetime (i have a thule roof rack and do about 75% miles)

Time to get to know the dude!?.............ahem, no disrespect but cars and boats are always hers or shes. Although I have to say our Maxine gives me less grief than I usually get from............let's just say she's trouble free.
I wish I had got into this conversation earlier. I would have had some lively comments to say about the "Energi is a better car" comment. Can you even get three of those little carry-on suitcases in the trunk?!
Japanese saying: ten men; ten tastes. Not every Ford shoe fits the same foot.
I call all new and young things of any derivitive little dudes, its a little trickier to say dudette... I dont know.. plus, Its hard to go with the usual feminie classification since the name is after all Chansonian Maximilian high velocity kenetic transportation machine of glory!!! Not Maxmine.

Alrighty everybody, I made the plunge!!! I bought a 2015 Hybrid SEL magnetic with the 302a and pano roof, remote start, and I had them throw in the interior and exterior protection package and roof racks to sweeten the pot and also agreed to 1.9% amd ford ESP for under a grand. I can't wait to pick the Chansonian Maximilian high velocity kenetic transportation machine of glory tomorrow morning! Then I get a 3 hr round trip to NYC and up the palicades and back then to Asbury Park for a concert Friday! Time to get to know the dude... next I'm going to look into tips on using the remote start and sync and all the schtuff. This is my first new car so I'm super excited but it's 1 am and I need to get up in a few hours, opps. Hopefully my life will start to fall into place now car troubles will be gone, until something breaks

awesome everybody thanks for the response... however, like i said, I AM NO WAY GOING TO BY AN ENERGI... thats it. I've done the research and I am going to buy a Hybrid VERY VERY soon, im just looking into the costs and how i can negotiate my best price point and extra etc... now, im looking at a 2015 SEL with 302a and pano roof... for 27,500 plus like 2,700 in taxes and fees etc..... i really wish it has the remote start since i read its best to lest the engine charge up the battery since i only commute a few miles i would be using all gas in the mornings esp in the mountains of jersey... but you think i can tell the saleman to give me the remote start and external and interal protection packages and roof racks and ESP plan and 1.9% loan for 28k maybe???? IDK, i've never bough a car over 8k and this is the cost of my little brothers house so im super anxious on spending this much money.... am i asking too much is 27k good enough for the standard 302 bonuses???

How do you remove the lower grill cover when "going up long uphill grades"?
-
If you click on my Fuelly Icon you can see all my trips for the last 2 1/2Years/ 91Kmi. and I usually have notes for each tank on conditions, speed, temps, winds and drafting. I have Grill Covers on pretty much all the time except going up long uphill grades where I remove lower cover. I have 82% HWY miles with 46MPG Fuelly average and CMAX Life Time of 47MPG. :)

Hey there, I'm looking into buying a hybrid SEL 2014 with 302a probably this week or next in the northeast, was just curious if you had any advice for me? Perhaps in what range were you able to get it for? Thanks for the help

Picked up my new car yesterday. Got my phone paired, homelink working, and hatch height set. So many gadgets. So much to learn. I had to take a little evening drive last night just for fun.
Dealer pushed an ESP for over $2,000. If it wasn't for the great information in this forum I wouldn't have been able to tell him how much more expensive his price was. When I told him the online price I could get he dropped it down $1K but it's still $200 more than online.
Also reading up on the accessories. Think I'll get the rubber floormats recommended here.
I don't think I've seen anything about paint protection. Any recommendations on adding that?
Thanks for making this such a useful forum.
Having driven a Camry Hybrid for 7 years I can say that driving this hybrid is a bit different. No problem with the regen braking. I'm consistently getting 98-100% energy return. What I have noticed is that I did more coasting with the Camry to squeeze out higher MPG's but in watching the CMax screens it seems I do better with some consistent light gas pedal pressure.
On tap today is learning more about Sync and MFT and getting music files that I had burned to a CD for my Camry set up on a USB drive.
And probably more driving excursions. :)

I bought two of my last three cars at Ciocca Ford Quakertown. They are decent to work with. I think their prices are better than other Ford dealers in my area. You can also look at Sands Ford Red Hill. They aren't too far from Quakertown. I got my C-Max there.
Thank you!!! Im about an hour and half away but not too many good dealers in NJ around here but i really dont have much experience with it. I will check them out, although i wanted a black car, the white still looks pretty hot

Also, im looking for a decent bike rack for 2 mtn bikes and the advantage sports swing daddy looks ok, but really cheap... on REI they have alot but they are incredibly pricing, any suggestions?
