Now this is interesting! I didn't know the car had that feature. Makes sense from an issue perspective. However, since the dealership already messed around with the microphones, they may have tried this one already. Will follow up with them, though; thanks a bunch! John

Hello all; Have a 2015 SEL with Sync. Since new have had an issue with blue-tooth use of my cell phone. Sound for me in the car is fine; can hear all calls incoming and outgoing (placed by me) well. Also OK at a standstill. However, when in motion, people I call have a very hard time hearing me. Lots of background noise, not from the interior car itself though (heater fan, etc.). Is more static/electronic,background noise in nature. Am working with the dealer who is working with Ford, but they say this is unusual, no one else complains about this condition, in any car! Hard to believe that. So am wondering if anyone else here has had the same issue and can suggest a fix. So far they have replaced the 3 microphones (yes, they said there are 3 of them) and done many system resets, re-pairing of the phones, etc. Sync software is up to date. In the interim I've replaced my phone and the problem is the same, so it's not the phone (Samsung S7). Any feedback is appreciated. John

Yes I have, prior to delivery. They heard it and were to have fixed it, but apparently not. Just wanted some input from anyone experiencing the same thing we take it back. Want it fixed the next time. Thanks.

Hello; Newbie here; have had a CMax for about 2 weeks now. Noticed a rattle in the headliner on the test drive. Dealer said they fixed it before delivery, but it's still there. Anyone else have this issue and had it resolved? Would appreciate input to point the service folks at when they look at it. It seems to be near the sun glass holder, in that general area. I also notice that if i push up on the headliner just in front of the retracting shade, it appears that there is some sort of adhesive the sticks for a second then lets go again. Sounds like 2 pieces of tape being pulled apart. Thanks for any input.

We just bought a new 15 CMax. The 16s won't be in Canada for a few months yet. Check the ford.ca web site; it still has the 15 with the specs, etc. We almost bought an Escape; had one rented for a week 2 weeks ago. Really nice, but we already have an SUV (Lexus RX350), so we really don't need 2 SUVs. Traded a focus for the CMax; didn't like the low difficult entry, the rough ride and the really wide turning radius of the focus any more. Had 1 set of clutches installed, but really didn't have a lot of transmission issues.

So we did it; traded our 2013 Focus for a 2015 CMax. When we bought the Focus, the CMax had just come out and I don't generally buy a year 1 (to North America) model. Always was intrigued by the CMax though and finally had the opportunity and the will to switch. For me, the Focus is a bit small and 3 years on, it's starting to rattle. Had the handling pkg and with the 18" tires, was a really rough ride with a lousy turning circle. We don't have 16 CMaxs in Canada yet so we bought a '15 SEL with the 303A pkg in write platinum. Our Lexus is also the same colour, but we didn't have much choice with the CMax. The 16's don't arrive for several months. I really had no issues with the latest incarnation of Sync in the Focus, so it's fine for us. We pick up Monday. Question; build date was January 15. Has the GPS map database changed since then? Want the dealer to install the latest/greatest maps. Thanks.
