Bummer. Is the stop on your car only or a C-Max wide stoppage?

Our guide and driver may have thought I was nuts when after several days of calmly observing all sorts of fantastic stuff, including Humboldt penguins, I started scrambling for an iPhone or camera so I could take a picture of the back of a truck.
-
Next time they go for service they should consider trading the truck in for a C-Max.

Galpin Ford has been praised on this forum. How far does their excellent reputation extend? Apparently at least as far as Lima, Peru. We were in Peru in early March. On the way back into Lima from an excursion south of the city, we spotted this truck:

Voice command for Entertainment screen?

Is there a voice command to get back to the main/home screen? -
What is the zero button?

I would love to take my C-max out in the snow we are having today, but after first hand reports from 2 people who know how to drive in snow that it took them more than an hour to go 2 miles because of all the vehicles stuck, abandoned, sideways and sliding off the road I think I will wait until tomorrow. Here is a photo from the WRAL website - this may be Hwy 54 between Durham and Chapel Hill:

SDG - Hope you don't have to go that route, but if you need to invoke the CA lemon law see the Lemon Law & Buy Back Info and Experience thread at http://fordcmaxhybri...and-experience/ , particularly the posts by salman.

Windows rolled themselves today

I like the feature too, except when the windows roll themselves down when I don't want them to. -

That's ridiculous that owners would get charged for this. IMO Ford should do this for free as a goodwill gesture. I also agree with your comment in the "Windows opened by themselves" thread that it would be nice if we could turn this on and off ourselves. -

Thanks ceemax71. I had seen your earlier post about this in another window rolling thread, but I forgot about it. Has anyone had this performed on their C-Max? Does it work? Any side effects? What does "Performing this procedure is not a warrantable condition." mean? -

BullDurham - Welcome to the forum. Sorry you have been experiencing the windows rolling down and 12v battery problems. We got our C-Max (at University Ford in Durham) about a month after you got yours. We have had at least 2 windows rolling down episodes, but no problems with the 12v battery. Make a few more posts and I will send you a PM (you need to make 5 or maybe its 6 posts before you can reply to a PM). -
The C-Max Bar - The Best Place to Greet & Talk
DaveofDurham replied to Jus-A-CMax's topic in Lounge: Off-Topic
Scuba - Next time you are in NC make a stop in Durham to check out the ELF from Organic Transit organictransit.com You can get your exercise pedaling and Slowpoke can ride shotgun and enjoy the ride. -
Scuba - Thanks. I will give that a try. The photo I want to include with a post is for a reply to your photo of Slowpoke's new wheels in the The C-Max Bar thread.

Thanks. "Manage Attachments" did the trick. Now I am using less than 1 MB.
-
I'm not looking to store images - I do that on my computer, back up drives and free 3rd party sites. I just want to include a photo with a post and I can't do it because the photo is 200KB and apparently I only have 177KB of space left on this forum.
-
I wanted to include a photo with a post. The photo was about 200KB. Next to the "Attach this file" button I see, "You can upload up to 177.51KB of files (Max. single file size: 177.51KB)" - so apparently I have used up almost all of my photo capacity. How do I get more photo space? Do I need to clear out (delete) some of my old photos? I have found several threads on how to include photos with a post, but nothing about what to do when you run out of photo space.

Did you have an Insight? We had a 2000 Insight. The hybrid battery was replaced twice under warranty. The third time was out of warranty in Nov/Dec 2012 - that's when we sold our Insight and got our C-Max. We drove the Insight for a few weeks and about 500 miles after the third battery failure. Without the hybrid assist, we were getting 45+ mpg in town and got 50+ mpg on a 50 mile highway drive to deliver the car to tis new owner.

C-max MPG not calculated correctly
DaveofDurham replied to mbedit's topic in Maintenance, TSB's & Recalls
I don't think there has been any change in the spread I see between gallons the car says I have used and gallons reported by the pump as a result of any of the updates. -
How about a rigid version that extends in front of the vehicle and doubles as a snow plow?
