Checked the build date, it's 1/14. Just got it back today. The service at Richmond Ford in Richmond VA has been great. I don't know if it's anything to do with the new transmission or maybe a software update, but it seems to run better. Smoother maybe. Could just be perception, who knows. But it's back!

I'm not sure the build date, I'll have to check when I get it back. It was making the growling noise under acceleration when the ice kicked in. If it was under electric only power it wouldn't do it.

Yes, it is still under factory warranty. It had about 35,800 miles when I brought it into the shop.

Happy owner of a new to me 2014 cmax hybrid. So far I love the car, I've been averaging about 43-45 mpg. Only problem is after owning it for about 2 weeks it is back at the dealer getting the transmission replaced.
