  1. I am disgusted with the ford personnel as with repeated questions they could tell me nothing like you all did. I looked at the dash and found an eco button which I found charges the battery more and if I read you correctly I will get better mileage. That was not on my 2015. I do disagree that there are no other changes. Who would have thought you needed to read the manual at first fill up to open the darn gas cap!! That is only one change but there are others including how the battery charges. If they are going to sell a car they should be schooled so they can let buyers know. I thought there were minor changes but they were never discussed with me. yes I did ask questions. Oh well I now have fuelly and a eco button, know how to open the gas tank and will drive on happily. I may use the other Ford dealer next time or at least get another sales man
  2. paul wow a little more than I can grasp . I appreciate but over my head. I have repeatedly asked the service people and the selling man. they could not explain.
  3. frank thanks for the explanation of white and blue. I have a hybrid. what do you mean motor and engine?
  4. Thanks for all your answers to my questions. I asked both the service man and the new car man and neither was aware of any changes from year to year concerning these two models. I combined all of your questions in one post below: my driving pattern is virtually the same. The battery charge now occurs when I would say "coasting" meaning not accelerating at any speed. It also occurs at the time of braking as it used to. It has not ever reached full charge ever as yet while the other car a full charge occurred regularly. Since this is a brand new car and the other one was too when leased. I really didn't notice a break in period in the first car. I was getting 42 mpgfirst cmax sel was a new 2015 leased vehicle. this is a brand new 2017 titanium. After a 2 year lease the mileage reached 10000 miles at turn in. the new car has not reached 2000 after about 5 months of driving.tire pressures where just checked when the car was taken for the first check up The mileage has begun to creep up, but until very recently it was 30mph. now I believe I get about 38. I have noticed that while driving, the indicators stay in the white zone longer than in the blue on the dash indicators. I really have never understood what these indicators mean so maybe that will tell me something if understood. you can see I am not very informed on the car but this being the second same model I am aware of the differences.
  5. I purchased my second c max. I have been disappoinmted in the mielage as it is lexx than my 2015. Also the battery charge is quite different as well. I have checked with my dealer who reports I am the only person commenting on this. Has anyone else reported these items.
