  1. Yes, traction devices are NO PROBLEM. Just not traditional link chains. Same is true for most newer passenger cars. However with regard to a spare, Ford should offer a temporary compact spare with jack/wrench and a tie down system as a dealer option. Let the owner decide when to sacrifice luggage space for security on trips through remote areas.
  2. I have not had traditional 'tire chains' for at least 30 years. The cable 'chains' work fine. Also there are zero clearance traction devices that work great (although they are somewhat expensive). I have a set (Thule K-Summit) for one of our cars.

  4. I agree. We should have a custom menu that gives us any data readout on the right screen that we choose. There are many parameters available via the OBD port that could be put there. This would have great appeal to tech-minded buyers who go out of their way to add aftermarket OBD display devices such as the Scangauge and Ultragauge..
