Rear tail lights won’t go off when the car is turned off

Having this same problem with my 2015. Another thread on here seems to say the brake switch is the issue and it solved it for a few people. I'm going to try this as soon as I can. In the meantime, I'm going to see what I can do to keep the lights off, because it completely drains my (~1 yr old) battery.
