First my radio quit working. Then the screen went blank. The next day, the car would not start at all. I just got a new 12 volu battery a couple of months ago. We jumped it and got it to the dealer. They said it was a bad APIM module. $1,200 to replace. Has anyone else had their radio quit working and the car not start too?

My sound system has quit several times. But this time, after the radio quit, the whole car would not start. After I jumped it and got it to the dealer, everything worked fine. They say I need a new APIM module. Can the APIM and the battery be connected?
