Hi, I'm having an issue with my 2013 C-Max. It seems to make a "whooshing" noise when I get up to about 35MPH and gets progressively louder the faster I go. I've taken it in to my local Ford dealership and their diagnostic said that the transmissions is at fault and will need to be replaced. However, they did not examine the transmission fluid or any of the other usual transmission checks. Moreover, the car is not stuttering when I accelerate, there is no grinding noise, none of the stuff that I think is usually related to transmission issues. The quote my dealership gave to repair/replace the transmission was around $7,000, and I'm definitely not going to spend that on a car that's less than five years old. Has anyone else experienced these issues or something like them? Really looking for any insight or ray of hope that I'm not driving something that's about to die. Thanks!
