I am a new owner to a 2013 Cmax energi and it has a bad accessory protocol interface module. The extended warranty does not apply. The dealer ones 1200 dollars to fix it, My far more affordable mechanic can't program it or even get the part (can that be right?) Is there a work around or do I just live without it? Suggestions? Does anyone have the part number? I can replace it myself and possibly have dealer re program? The dealer is quoting 700+ for the part, and 500 for installation and shop fees, plus tax. Thank you SA
