I bought a Focus ST (which is stupid fast) for my "mid life crisis". Having said that, I was very pleasantly surprised the first time I asked my CMAX to move on a bit. So I know what you mean. The CMAX delivers fine power for special circumstances and very nice mpg the rest of the time.

In the short time I have been using this forum I have learned a lot. P&G, Grill modifications and temperature monitoring, cycling the cruise control when going down hill just to name a few. I drive a lot on the freeway which doesn't help. Using the above techniques my mileage is steadily rising. Averaging 38mpg on current tank. I was spending $800.00 per month to drive my truck. Thanks again to everyone here who has generously shared what you have learned. -Dave

Thanks! My mileage was low because I was almost late for work a few times last week and was pushing the car a little to hard. Doing better on current tank. Also I have a friend who makes custom plastic parts. Going to try to get him to make me a grill cover.

I have an SEL with MFT but I screwed up and didn't notice mine did not have navigation. You can still get turn by turn directions from SYNC and Serius. But neither of those are as good. My ST has it and I love it.

How do I link my Fuelly account with this website? BTW, (Ingot Silver SEL that I love already)
