Best thread I can find on my question. Just got baseplate etc. installed on my 2017 CMax. I have the wiring figured out but wanted to ask about installing the 2-3 Hopkins to separate combined stop and turn as cmax has separate. I also have the diode kit to prevent feedback. Has anyone installed both? Also when towing I have a brake buddy and wondering if when braking it charges the hybrid battery? Manual says key in accessory position after initial startup. First year of snow birding and would appreciate any input.

Thanks for the add and a lot of great information here. Just got the demco baseplate installed on my wifes 2017 Cmax as going to tow behind our class C. I have a couple of questions if someone could point me in the right direction. I am hooking up a Hopkins charger and thought I might be able to connect it to the jump post terminal in engine compartment instead of running wire clear back to battery. Other question is with key in accessory position will miles accumulate when towing? Appreciate any insight.
