still Ford Corp should be giving them a clear instruction set to follow step by step. this isn't rocket science (well maybe it IS). this is like a warranty field service repair at my company. if we did this to our customer, we'd lose major work contacts in a second. surely many dealers are having issues with the updates and Corp would hear about this. there must be someone working on making it easier for dealers to perform updates. sounds like they need an internal audit of their systems and processes to understand the issues and how these dealers now need to be trained and equipped to do hybrid tech stuff. i wonder if it's harder(complicated more) for to the fact that MFT sync is a Microsift product and not made by Ford. do they have less say in how to do this.?? surely they hired ms specialists that do this as their primary job???

scuba, do all can speed settings kick in the ice? can you do a comparison and post the kwh used for each fan speed setting (using the special accessory load screen on the dash) so we can see how much and where it changes the most and which setting is the best bang for the buck. in my Passat i try to use 73 deg and recirc mode and speed of 1 or 2 at the most to try to minimize the fuel used. i have tinted windows and crack them and the sun roof during the day to let some heat out. i use all windows down trick when i get in then need max ac to start then do as described above with 1-2 fan setting.

mtb you might now be getting the roof rack effect worth your double placement.went did you decide on using 2 sets instead of only one? this is why the magnetic ones let you move them around to try and find the sweet spot. have you looked at other cars that are like the cmax in small shape to see how others have done it? also went can't we access your fuelly info when we click on your sig line for fuelly? it says it's a bad link

Lordu, i too will be getting the cmax for the wife too ( to replace her 199d9 Toyota SUV 4Runner) but I'm going to be sure to try and borrow it as much as i can to do testing and report here. maybe try and trade the cmax for my Passat for a whole week. she gets the better deal right? :) yeah i have been getting better at the mpg game as well. been doing more p&g and cruise in my Passat and getting great results for a big gas sedan. it's nice to know you don't have to go to the gas station each week.

the fusion got was able to get a 9-11% increase in FE ?? wow but it does look like cooler weather (less a/c use need) was probably a contributing factor as well since its not a test in a vacuum where all key process inputs can be held stale. lots of variables involved. Will mtb be the first tester using them on a c-max that you know of? or have others ordered them for the cmax?

sounds great. what color did you pick for the ambient lighting in the footwells? keep the coaches turned on to get used to the braking and accelerating properly and you should do fine.40 is is a great start. if the wife loves it your golden.

i was able to download the video and watch it.lots of background noise but i guess the pix was the main thing.so you got it up to 35mph or so and kicked on the cruise? or did you just back off the throttle to get it into EV mode? looked like a 1 bar burn after EV kicked in.

yuk.drop the headliner.they better have a guy who knows what he is doing otherwise it will look like cr@p afterwards. not fun for Ford I'm sure. wonder if it will be noticeable after the fix since they didn't design it that way in the first place and might not be much room/space to add the foam protection. wonder if there will be a bump?

you'd think in this day and age of cell phones and tablets and high tech stuff they could find a way to not botch entering numbers correctly into the system.

they better know about it as if they fail to do it to all their cars in stock and new ones delivered , before they demo or sell them, they will be fined $7,000 for each car in violation of the recall.

really hate this fact. what good is power seats without memory esp when you have multiple drivers in the same house. in the SEL trim it should be std.i can see in the SE it shouldn't be but as an option.

love my hd radio in my Passat. first time for hd for me. i know my wife will love hers once she gets her c-max. wish more stations had the sub stations. my fav smooth jazz station has s sub station that plays all the classic ones from the best artists so you don't just have to listen to the current top jazz hits that are on the main channel.

altazi, good to hear your an engineer.in sure your life me and love data analysis and reading lots of info and research I'm a quality engineer. can't wait to see how you do on mpg improvement over your first 6 months. lots of fun to be had by you. envious here. hope we can get ours within the next 4 months.

i agree this thread title needs to be changed to add"stalls/spots" at the end, to avoid folks trying to learn how to get 47 mpgs while parking in a stall :0 :)

sorry to hear this Naples. can you have them sell you a new cmax that does work after you get the money? what are you looking at getting instead of you do lemon it out?
