I've had a pretty simple SEL on order since June and it was BUILT on August 13th with a delivery estimate of AUGUST 20, eight miles down Michigan Ave. from the plant. Today is OCTOBER 31st and it still has NOT been delivered to the dealer. I've seen others delivered and on the road. Any ideas on what the holdup is, EXACTLY???

Ordered SEL in June, deposit cashed July 7th, C-Max built on August 13th, still waiting for it:-( I understand Ford wanting the highest quality of this new launch and placed a 'Stop Ship' order on a large number of cars, but I'd like a better answer. Can anyone tell me what Ford is looking for? And why customers are being treated like mushrooms?
