    Just received a card from Ford for "$2000 off the purchase or $1,000 off the lease of a new 2016 C-MAX.*" It says "this private offer is to thank you for being a loyal Ford EV owner." You must currently own a 2000 or newer Ford EV product, take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 1/4/2016, one per household, etc. It can be combined with other public offers. It might not fit in your (or some one else's!) stocking but it sure beats coal!
