  1. Had this happen this morning, while driving into town for doctor's appointments, I heard a thud come from the front of the C-Max. I did not see anything beforehand that could cause such a sound to happen. I started hearing scraping coming from the front & stopped at the nearest gas station (about 1/2 mile). When pulling into the gas station (slowly & with hazards running & windows down) several people nearby stated I was dragging. When I finally fully stopped & checked, found out that the undercarriage engine cover (or whatever it is appropriately called) had come loose. Called my SA & told him the situation & told him need to have the car looked at cause of everything. Went to the local NAPA store & the clerk did a temporary fix by using a large ziptie to secure the cover. When got to the dealership, gave the keys to the SA & within about 15 minutes, he handed us the keys and said it was fixed. Apparently, some of the caps holding it in place were missing and some of the others came loose.
