I have had my C-MAX SE since Dec 7th 2012 and except for not getting to the 47 MPG have been very happy with it. I got the SE as it fitted my needs especially as I was trading in a 2012 Ford Edge SEL.

However yesterday morning the car was completely dead in my driveway. Roadside assistance came and jump started it. It was not obvious that anything had been left on. I took the car to the dealership I purchased it from. Battery tested good, so they started looking deeper. They have been emailing Ford, rather than calling so I am still without my vehicle. I am see in this customer forum that I should call Ford which I will do to register, plus seeing other owners are experiencing similar problems. This concerns me as my C-MAX is my only means of transportation and it being unreliable could impact me getting to work and other things.

I've had it happen once also in 4 months. The car is supposed to have a battery saver feature per the manual so I don't believe leaving anything plugged in causes the problem. Unless of course the battery saver feature is what's malfunctioning. Unfortunately it seems to be more prone to happen on the SE models.
