C-MaxNC
Hello everyone. I am a new C-Max owner, looking forward to a long and productive partnership with my new car. ? Mine is a 2013 SEL model, with about 130K miles. I do have a "hazy" rear BU camera, at least it looks that way from the screen on the dash. Any suggestions for this? Also open to any other information I should know about my new C-Max. This is my first hybrid, but I am excited to experience how things go. Thanks D
stolenmoment
I have a 2013 Energi, and my backup camera is hazy as well. Just cleaning the lens doesn't fix it, unfortunately.

I am going to see if I can clean mine by removing the cover to see if it's dirty inside, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I will need a new camera myself. I have seen them online for around 140.
stolenmoment
Mine works "well enough" that I'm not going to mess with it for now. I can see curbs if they're at all contrasty, and the guidlines work fine, so it's good enough for parking. Guest Costco backup camera
Our 2016 (Oct. of 2015 build) didn't come with a backup camera so I got one from Costco (like $120) and it works great. No wiring needed - wireless and I plug it into the 'cigarette lighter' outlet near the shirt lever. Big and clear.
