reedmother
Not sure what is so great about stiff suspension. I'm trying to get used to it, but I can feel every bump in the road. What is the story with that?
Laurel
Our C-Max suspension seems very good as we comment how it doesn't jar us going over bumps. My husband has a big Lexus SUV and we have commented that the C-Max is more comfy going over the bumps than the Lexus. But then again my C-Max has been a gem in every way so far. My Tip is a keeper for sure.
StoBro2
My C-Max is a marshmallow compared to the cars I've owned recently. The only time I've noticed any harshness is when the temperature dips below zero. Then everything stiffens up- the fluid in the dampers, the rubber in the tires, the foam in the seat cushions, you name it. Adair
Laurel
Reedmother is in Vermont so it is likely very cold there now which may explain his query. I'm in British Columbia and it is mild and rainy here--glorious today at 10C.
reedmother
Have to compare it to other cars, not SUVs. I hope it gets smoother with warmer weather. Both my old Nissan Versa and our other car - a Camry hybrid, are marshmallows compared to this one. Our roads are pretty rough in the winter also, I guess. Laurel - Reedmother is female :)
