We had a bit of a problem at first since the mark for the max placement was so far down the window we had to guess where we would like it. Why would the limit me so low on the windsheild?? How I told them to do it was 2inches below the dot matrix line (not the dot matrix behind the rearview mirror) then he did a slight bend to follow the shape of the windsheild. Any other measurement you can provide will be an additional assist. Did you go with the darkest tint possible?...don't know if there is any regulation on "eyebrow" darkness, like applies to the front side windows in TX. Guess my tint guy should know... CassidyB Posted February 11, 2013 Report Share Posted February 11, 2013 I saw eyebrow and thought eyelash.. Oops.. The window tint laws here in Alabama vary depending on the type of vehicle. Only the upper 6 inches of any vehicle windshield can be tinted, after that it gets confusing. I went to get a tint quote and was asked what category did my auto fall into.
