Bumping steering linkage

Recommended Posts

In pursuing this topic. Think I've found the answer to the original question,,,One; other's have noticed, too (also)... Why is the Energi turning radius so bad? One fellow suggested the addition of an anti-sway bar. Great, if one has the cash,, never me: though! Not to be discouraged...however. Tried turning the auto, s-l-o-w-l-y, under control. Conscientiously keeping inertia,(read, roll) down.  Turning as flat (anti-sway) as possible. Eureka! The anti-sway bar, Like VW had. And like Corvair had. Small-ish autos I've had experience with in the past. Is the ticket. But,,, drivng slowly, into the turn. Keeping it flat,,,like a grocery cart. Works just as well. Initiate the turn slowly and when the car gets into the flat....finish turning the steering wheel. Car snaps right around! Into the turn.  ?
