zhackwyatt
After you did the dash have you noticed a glare? I had to make sure on our last Ford at the car wash to TELL them to NOT treat the dash, caused a terrible glare! No, not really. I haven't had any glare problems in it. All the windows are tinted, maybe that helps.
C-MAXER
Back to the original question, I use a small california duster for dirt, lint, hair, etc. A quick pass or two around the dash periodically GREATLY reduces the need for liquid type cleaning (typically once a year for me). http://www.amazon.com/California-Car-Duster-Dash/dp/B006B376WK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1364766292&sr=8-4&keywords=california+duster
Red Twin
I just finished doing my new C's interior using 303 Protectant. I have used it for years on my other cars with great results. Amazon has the best price for the 32 oz spray. I also use the 303 wipes, for the dash and it looks great. Kept my 10 year old King Ranch looking new when I traded it for my new C. kc1174
I've always been a fan of the Einszett products on Amazon. Cockpit premium shine/oil free for the dash and trim; Windscreen clear for the glass and Kristall Klar washer fluid concentrate. Apparently used by BMW and/or Mercedes and work pretty well. Been using these for a few years and kept them going with the C-Max.
Retired1
I am 303 protectant fan. @red twin, I use this on my 2002 King ranch, that I still have.

Jus-A-CMax
Avoid the green Turtle brand dash brush, its a POS, lint everywhere... ..but I didn't pay anything for it. I also got the large CA dusters, freaking awesome  . Again, it was free :happy feet: Edited May 14, 2013 by Jus-A-CMax
Laurel
Here's a picture of my husband and dog driving Max. I think Conan (my dog) loves the back seat of the car when he's not driving lol. Looks like Conan is a snuggle bug.
C-Maxgo
Looks like Conan is a snuggle bug. He is Laurel. He also likes hybrid cars. Normally he barks and turns circles when a loud engine comes by while we're walking but when a hybrid comes by going shu shu shu he keeps on walking. I love it! As for cleaning my dash I still like water and when it doesn't need cleaning I use my feather duster to get the dust off. I think using water helps the new car smell last longer. zhackwyatt
I think it's also important to have UV protection, especially if you don't have good tint that blocks the UV rays.
