RachelnLa
Beautiful weather out. I decided it was time for Rainette to have a bath. I am pretty much the only one riding in the car so it's mainly the outside that gets dirty. http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/93484805@N07/8561747321/ Jus-A-CMax
StoBro2
I looked at your photo. I'm envious of anyone with a clean car right now. But you might want to double check the alignment of the letters HYBR and ID. Something's not quite right there.
Jus-A-CMax
Very nice RachelinLA, I am about to wash Maxine today as well. Got some greasy gunk on the front bumper and shes gonna get vacuumed as well, got some sand from Ventura beach. Laurel
Nice photos Rachel! Rainette looks lovely. Tip has some bird poop on her right now so she is due for a bath too, but the weather today is crummy--coolish about 9C and damp. I didn't really notice anything off with your hybrid emblem but I have no OCD traits.
RachelnLa
It's not off. It's the angle of the camera :). Trick photography. If it were off, not too much I can do to fix it now! :)

RachelnLa
Are you CRAZY?? heck no. I tried to move out the way for an ambulance today and rubbed the rim on a drain in the curb. I was not happy. GRRR

Superglue won't fix that but it'll fix 99.99% of other things like paper cuts. Hmmmh, that could be an expensive buff and rub and buff... :nonono:
RachelnLa
You cannot tell unless you look really well but *i* know it's there. I was thankful I didn't crunch the sidewall or scrape the door!

I was thankful I didn't crunch the sidewall or scrape the door!Doom....doom...dooooooom I say....its like that one scratch I found on my rear bumper as I washed Maxine this afternoon (which by the way was a lovely 70F) and I was spewing I didn't buy the scuff protector. I just used the white magic on it and buffed it out. I know it's still there...still there....doom, doom, doom I say! :)
colea
Yes, there's always a first scratch or dent somewhere, sometime, and it's always traumatic. Now that yours is out of the way, and a relatively minor one, relax and enjoy the car!
RachelnLa
I know, I know. The rim is scratched. It could have been a lot worse. It was just frustrating because I was at an intersection trying to move because an ambulance was coming thru. Sucks when you are doing the right thing and u get dinged. Hubby asked if u wanted curb feelers lol

JohnnOhio
Sorry to hear about the first scrape. I know how you feel. At least I could clean up mine when my niece puked in the back seat. I only had mine 2 days when that happened. It made me sick to. GUZZI
RachelnLa
I know John! I feel for you! My son puked on the cloth seats of one of my surburbans.. i think every time i cleaned the seats more red juice came up. Glad yours is leather :)
roninsd
Curb feelers -- blast from the past, and very practical. How about a steering wheel knob so you can turn corners with one hand? Loved that on our 53 Bel Air. RachelnLa
He drives a dodge ram. It's huge. I have to use a step stool to get in or he has to pull up in the driveway where the ground is a little higher. He loves that suicide ball. He has one on the tractor too.
