Where’s my Knight Rider 2000? A MyFord Touch owner’s lament

Mine did this often when I first got it. My husbands phone calling my car or my car calling his cell phone usually triggered this. Since he got a new phone it hasn't happened! I did notice it nice when the system got overloaded. Then I remembered Laurel saying give the car a command and wait. Then the next command and then wait. It works.

What type of phone? Mine doesn't recognize them on my iPhone.

I have an iPhone 5 and following the progress on this. Apple just added the Bluetooth MAP protocol needed to allow interaction with Sync in IOS6. We get a partial implementation in the form of text read capability in the upcoming Sync 3.5.1 release.
