RachelnLa
Mine did this often when I first got it. My husbands phone calling my car or my car calling his cell phone usually triggered this. Since he got a new phone it hasn't happened! I did notice it nice when the system got overloaded. Then I remembered Laurel saying give the car a command and wait. Then the next command and then wait. It works.
dtorres
I was good for several months and then had this same reboot twice in the last week. Weird part is after the last reboot it suddenly recognizes the text messages from my phone which it hadn't in the past. dtorres
It's a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. According to the Ford Sync website it doesn't support the text function for my phone.
darrelld
What type of phone? Mine doesn't recognize them on my iPhone. I have an iPhone 5 and following the progress on this. Apple just added the Bluetooth MAP protocol needed to allow interaction with Sync in IOS6. We get a partial implementation in the form of text read capability in the upcoming Sync 3.5.1 release.
