RachelnLa
What's everyone's plans for Easter? Family traditions? We get together on Good Friday to dye eggs. The kids love to use crayons to draw designs or pictures on the eggs and then dye them. My dad fries up some fish, fries, onion rings and my grandmother makes her boiled beet, egg and potatoes sliced thin. That was their tradition growing up and she tells us the story. She is 92! We eat and visit and pock eggs. This is normally done on Easter but since we stay home in Easter we pock eggs on good Friday. If you're interested, I found this on the Internet. http://msenplace.blogspot.com/2010/03/cajun-easter-time-for-paquing.html?m=
Jus-A-CMax
Easter...its weird but I actually enjoy watching the re-runs of the Easter movies. With the Bible series scoring big on History Channel, I think there will be more interest this Easter. I guess I can't pock with the Toygers huh? ;) mtb9153

Our family usually just meets at my sisters house on Easter, color eggs. Have great dinner together, then afterwards usually the adults will hid plastic eggs with small amounts of change inside the two halves. The kids will go look for them and once they are all found, sit down and count up all their change they found. It is fun to watch my sisters son(13) and daugther(21) and her boyfriend(21) look for the eggs and count up their money. But this year I'm not sure how it will all work since my Dad(84) recently moved into an Alzheimers Care facility. Maybe we will do the egg hunt there? Not sure how it will all work.
