leenanj
I have a quick question for you C-Max owners. My rear camera looks a little out of focus to me and seems it could be sharper. How does yours look?

leenanj
Silly suggestion, but check it for dust....mine looks out of focus if it's dirty....I wish it was that simple, first thing I checked if it was dirty or plastic cover from factory left on. Just want to know what other have before I take apart to see if there is a focus ring to adjust. Its not to bad but feel it could be a bit sharper than it is, I tend to be a perfectionist sometimes. thekrobro
leenanj, my C-Max is also a bit out of focus. I've had it for about a week now and I'm thining I'm going to have the dealer take a look. My brother has a newer Explorer, and his camera is crystal clear. thekrobro
No luck. Dealer says it's due to "not being an HD camera".
leenanj
No luck. Dealer says it's due to "not being an HD camera".I kind of thought that would be the case. Did you look at another C-Max to see what it looked like?My dealer did not have another C-Max with the rear camera on the lot. In my opinion it does not need to be HD to be clear but I think maybe its the wide angle lens, kind of a fish eye that gives it that blurry look. Thanks for the reply.
