I took the car’s My Key to two dealerships (one in my hometown, another an hour away) and neither were able to reset the reduced volume on the My Key. (We wanted to do this because my spouse typically drives using the My Key and he liked to listen to podcasts while driving and needs a higher volume.). Then, about five days after I had taken it to the second dealership, the Admin key started to malfunction. Now using my Admin (or main) key, the volume is also limited to 14; i can’t go any higher. I can’t help but think that the second dealership’s service department did something to make the Admin key mail function in this way. How should I proceed? Go to yet another Ford dealership in a much larger city about an hour away and try to get them to fix it? Go back to the second dealership? Could this be operator error?
