I would normally have simply looked for another Prius or similar like a regular C-Max, but the tax law for 2023 that allows for tax credit on used plug-ins caught my attention. Per the IRS, the used C-Max Energi is on the list for a $4000 tax credit: https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/used-clean-vehicle-credit I decided to go looking and purchasing before the dealers understood this and started jacking prices up to take their cut. If you're looking to buy one and you can take the full the $4000 tax credit at the end of the year, now's the time. My son will drive this; he'll never plug in, but the IRS doesn't care...
