dijman
I am about to purchase a C-MAX SEL. I was wondering what the difference between the SYNC w/MFT (which is standard) and the SYNC w/MFT with NAV and Sony audio. Specifically will the album artwork when playing my iPod still show up on the screen if I just get the SYNC w/MFT (standard) or do I need to get the NAV, SONY sound upgrade? (Also, any comments on the Sony sound upgrade would be appreciated.) Thanks.
zhackwyatt
All Nav and Sony Audio do is give you navigation, HD Radio, and better sound (theoretically, I've never listened to the difference between the Sony and Non-sony systems). I don't have an ipod, I just put all my music on a USB Flash drive and keep it in the car and with that method, the artwork definitely is displayed. C-Maxgo
I have the Nav and Sony Audio with SYNC w/MFT. The sound is great! I also have an iPod that i hooked up today to see if I could see the art work. The manual says that when Gracenote is used cover art is used. I saw the option to choose the Gracenote or artwork from the iPod but when I switched between the two all I saw both times was the bluetooth icon. I'll try it again tomorrow since I have turned the car off since changing the settings.
