I wanted to get gas before the weather got bad and I have errands to run after work tomorrow and didn't want to have to stop for gas. Filled up, grabbed my receipt and went on my way. Inputting it on fuelly, I noticed a few things: 1). It's been 18 days since my last fill up. EIGHTEEN!!! And I still had 40something miles to go! 2). It cost me 37.00 to fill up. That's like 12.33 a week for gas. I was spending at least 50 a week in the Tahoe. That's 37.67 a week savings. It cost me less than that for a fill up that lasts three weeks or more! That is what? 50.00 a month in Rainette versus 200.00 a month in the Tahoe. That's 150.00 saved every month on gas. WOW. 3) This tank I dropped 1.8mpg. This tank I drove it like regular car. Not too shabby. 4). I missed watching/making it go in EV mode. :) 5). I "go" a lot more than I did in my Tahoe. A lot more. Jus-A-CMax Posted April 19, 2013 Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 Wish I had that luxury, these miles are just killing me...thank goodness for the mileage I am getting in my CMax, if it was my Camry, I would be going broke at $4 a gas (still) here in LA....ssssh.
