Jus-A-CMax
Interesting article...and this website even gets a mention in her article.... http://www.forbes.com/sites/joannmuller/2013/01/04/ford-makes-a-great-car-and-gets-slammed-anyway/ I guess I did not get the memo that our CMax is not a 47/47/47 MPG car ;) PS I didn't see this article get linked here or posted here already but if it was, I apologize ahead of time. Riddley
I didn't see that referenced anywhere else either. Good read. Thanks for posting Jus!!
RachelnLa
Good read. It took me a few weeks of playing and practicing to feet consistently high mileage. I don't see how a test drive can show those numbers.
roninsd
I think the combined "real world" experience of drivers across the country shows that weather makes a big difference, as does the break in period. Those two aspects (as well as the driver) can make the difference between 35 and 47 (or more) mpg. RachelnLa
DR61
Ford did not 'promise' 47 mpg for the C-Max Energi. Its EPA ratings are 44 city, 41 highway, and that is not a promise, it's a test result under certain conditions.
