Shiatt
I have a 2015 C-Max Hybrid, coming up for its 40,000-mile service. I've been taking it in once a year to a place (The Garage) here in San Francisco, for oil/filters/not much else, and they've been reasonably priced. I went on their website and found they now use RepairPal to give cost estimates--and I was surprised that they 40K service came in at c. $800. As far as I know, nothing special goes on at 40K. Now, I do need to replace the 12V battery (it has the original), but that's not included in the $800--it's an extra $275 or so, which sounds about right. What's a reasonable routine 40K maintenance service cost?
grege
40,000 mile service should be nothing special other than engine oil and filter change and tire rotation (and replace your cabin and engine filters if not already done). That's all I would do. Greg Shiatt
