Help diagnosing whining near front drivers side wheel when engine on (2013 CMAX)

Recommended Posts

Hi all - I'm looking for some troubleshooting help for my 2013 CMAX. Here's a vid link that makes it pretty clear, but I'll describe in text too. I have a noticeable whining from the drivers side. It’s not noticeable inside the car but outside gets louder the closer I get to the drivers side front wheel. It stops when the engine is off (see vid link). Any ideas what this could be or how to troubleshoot?

Sorry you didn't get any responses.   Did you find out what the cause/culprit was/is?

I'm dealing with a general increase in noise from the front end of my 2013 (111,000 miles) while driving above 40-50 mph.    Basically it's "engine noise" but much louder than before.   Doesn't seem to make a difference if the car is on electric or gas.
