cmaxpod
I got a Black SEL for a week now. It has been running great. This weekend I started to play around with MyKey. Got it set on the first try. Yesterday I regret having set the 80MPH limit and want to disable it.For the life of me I can't get into the correct MyKey menu to make the change or reset them all to start over.I read the manual about half a dozen of times now, searched the forum, google it and tried various ways (start ignition with my fob put in the backup slot under steering wheel) but I just don't see MyKey under Settings as stated in the manual. The only thing I see MyKey is under Information, which is probably in read-only mode. I held down OK, Down Arrow for 30 secs to min, but nothing. What did I miss? Im in process of bring in my car for a dashboard check and I will ask Service to reset MyKey if I don't have a solution by then. I appreciate any hints you folks can give me.Thanks. salsaguy
may want to ask on the cmax facebook site as they have reps reading and replying to questions pretty quickly (some in private message)www.facebook.com/FordCMax
Tdefny
You need a master fob to clear a mykey. Once you designate a mykey, it is no longer a master. Try your other fob.
