catsailor
The dealer changed my first oil change, my question is I will more than likely go elsewhere for my second and third...how do you clear the dash's warning afterwards? Thanks By the way, was working on 48.2 mpg tank, dropped it off for the recall 3.5.1 and an oil chage and got the car back at 47.2, Still a very respectable tank using premium gas and LOTS of a/c BUT I did not re-fiil with premium since its too large a price point gap per gallon around the DC area. salsaguy
so i assume doing this procedure of holding the gas pedal down for 25 seconds wont flood the injectors or engine with gas and it knows to cut fuel off since the car is not on but only on ACC mode? In this procedure, the car is in accessory mode not run and it is drive by wire. There is no physical connection from the gas pedal to the engine. The first time I floored a hybrid with the brakes on and the car in run mode was freaky. It did nothing because the battery was full. The second time was with a low battery and it eventually rev'ed up for what is referred to as a "force charge". :shift: Haven't tried this in the 'max yet.
