ScubaDadMiami
So, there I am, sitting in a long line of cars at a red light during rush hour traffic (still got 54.4MPG on the trip! :) ). A guy is trying to sell flowers to people stopped at the light. The guy comes walking between my lane and the car to my left: BEEP . . . BEEP . . . BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP. The front sensors picked up a signal from the guy being so close to the C-MAX. (This was a solitary figure walking down the lane.) Now, isn't that something! :shift: I hope that you all have been enjoying the Chronicles of C-MAX. Have a great day! Jus-A-CMax
Yeah...that happens with all the surface street driving and pedestrians. Also, it'll tell u if some butthead comes too close in the rear as well. Amazing, amazing car :) Edited June 13, 2013 by Jus-A-CMax
mtb9153
I can attest to my proximity sensors going off while sitting in traffic. I frequently hear a single or two tones going off from time to time and for no reason that I can see. No body moving near me that I saw. Maybe a piece of road debris was sensed? Or a leaf, pretty touchy system for sure.
